Instruction consists of weekly individual and group violin lessons, as well as concerts each semester.
The student and parent both attend lessons every week.
In individual violin lessons teachers focus on personalized instruction for the needs of each student. While the students learn at their own pace, parents take notes and guide daily practice sessions at home.
Group violin lessons reinforce music skills and techniques with fun and engaging interaction with peers. Students learn to play with other musicians, become motivated by their friends, encourage each other’s efforts and create a supportive community.
Concerts are performed several times a semester. Students are given the opportunity to share their music in a variety of venues. Students and parents encourage each other with a spirit of cooperation and enthusiasm while sharing their gifts of music throughout the community.
